Sharise Harrison

Director of Project Management and Research

Loyola University of Chicago

Sharise Harrison is currently the Director of Prospect Management and Research at Loyola University of Chicago. She was previously at Grenzebach, Glier, and Associates where she served as Vice President, Advancement Analytics and Advancement Services, serving as the lead consultant in philanthropic analytics and prospect development.  Prior to this, Sharise spent four years as Senior Director, Prospect Management & Analytics at Santa Clara University Prior to Santa Clara, Sharise worked in leadership positions within Prospect Management and Prospect Research for Teach for America, The Humane Society of the United States, and University of Kentucky Healthcare.  She also served as an analyst for organizations that include Women for Women International and Georgetown University.  Sharise, holds an MA from Georgetown University, and earned her undergraduate degree from LaSalle University.  She’s also a published author of numerous articles on Prospect Development for publications such as The Chronicle of Philanthropy.  Sharise’s team at Santa Clara was awarded the 2021 CASE District VII Platinum Finalist Award for Best Practices in Advancement Services. She was recently elected a board member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA). 

Sasha Villacis

Sasha Villacis is founder of Inspiring Philanthropy, a fundraising consulting firm focused on tackling complex prospect development and advancement programs to inspire greater philanthropy in California. Her career spans 20 years of visioning prospect development, advancement services, and performance management programs for various multi-billion dollar higher education campaigns and inclusive philanthropy efforts at various social service and environmental nonprofits. For her principal gift prospect development work at UC Berkeley, she was honored as a Platinum Finalist for Best Fundraising by the global organization CASE in 2021. Sasha currently serves on the San Francisco Opera Guild Board and as national editor of Apra’s online journal, Connections. 

Evan Miyazono, PhD

Protocol Labs

In his role as the Head of Network Goods at Protocol Labs, Evan Miyazono is at the cutting edge of what the future of philanthropy may look like. He will motivate the notion that new tools for coordination and collaboration are the keys to solving the world's greatest challenges. Leveraging tools built in his lab, he’ll articulate the role that Development Professionals can play in a new fundraising landscape.

Joel Abu-Brimpong

Stanford

Joel Adu-Brimpong is an MD/MBA student at Stanford University. Prior to his current studies, Joel served as a healthcare administration fellow and program manager at Cleveland Clinic, where he focused on business development, strategy, digital health, and clinical operations. Additionally, Joel conducted biomedical research at the National Institutes of Health and holds a Master's degree in Health Informatics, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biopsychology, Cognition & Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. Joel is passionate about developing new tools, technologies, and systems to help support and uplift disadvantaged communities in health and education.
