Building on Class I and II content, participants will be introduced to Hypercerts: a tool to build scalable retrospective reward systems for impact. In his role as the Head of Research at Protocol Labs, Evan Miyazono is at the cutting edge of what the future of philanthropy may look like. He will present the notion that coordination and collaboration are the keys to solving the world's greatest challenges. Leveraging tools built in his lab, he’ll articulate the role that Development Professionals can play in a new fundraising landscape.

Evan Miyazono, PhD

Evan Miyazono leads Network Goods at Protocol Labs, supporting differential technological development in support of human flourishing with new coordination tooling and incentive mechanisms. This includes designing and deploying mechanisms, identifying and using metascientific leverage points, building new career affordances, and developing better research practices. Prior to leading Network Goods, Evan previously led PL Research; he completed a PhD in Applied Physics at the California Institute of Technology, developing hardware for a secure quantum internet. Before that, he completed a BS and MS in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
