Samantha Frost

Senior Director of Alumni Experiences

The Ohio State University

Samantha Frost is the Senior Director of Alumni Experiences at The Ohio State University. In this role, Sam acts as a liaison to those who do engagement work across Ohio State’s many colleges/units while also leading the Advancement Events team, who serves as a center of excellence for event best practices and standards. Sam got her start in the event industry as the Event Manager at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, shortly after completing a Master’s degree program at the University of Chicago in a completely unrelated discipline: English Literature! When she moved to Columbus in 2003 to join her extended family, she did a short stint in the for-profit world with Marriott, and then returned to her non-profit roots via an events position with Columbus’ Center of Science and Industry. She joined Ohio State as the Director of Advancement Events in 2013.
