The Nature Conservancy

Mark DeFilippis is the Director of Prospect Development at The Nature Conservancy where they just completed their $8 billion Our World Campaign.  His team focuses on pipeline development with emphasis on principal and strategic giving.  Prior to coming to the Conservancy in 2007, Mark spent 11 years at the University of Georgia leading the prospect research and prospect management office. He is a two-term Apra Board of Directors member, former officer of Apra-Georgia, and recipient of the Apra Distinguished Service Award.  Mark is a founding member of the Association of Advancement Services Professionals (AASP).  He earned a MEd from University of Georgia and BA History from Virginia Tech.
